Ward Tips is a mobile application, published by Stephen Lambert (Director of Clinical Training) for intern and resident medical officers to navigate learning while working at the Mackay Hospital and Health Service.

The Ward Tips application was designed to provide information about your residency at your finger tips, providing access to guidelines, policy and procedures conveniently when you need it, at the point of care.

Quick reference guides to common ward call problems together with hospital guidelines and protocols are available in the application.

A guide to getting consults, a telephone directory and shortcuts to on call DECT phones will make your job a littler easier and quicker.
